WOMEN BUILD 2023
This is the 21st year of our annual fundraiser/build campaign, Women Build. Women Build is an annual project in which Habitat for Humanity St. Tammany West empowers women, without excluding men, to build homes, enabling them to positively impact the lives of families by making home ownership a reality. Often, over 400 volunteers contribute over 2,065 volunteer hours during Women Build to help build these homes in West St. Tammany Parish. Women possess all that's needed to create dramatic change in our community. From volunteering to donating, there are many ways to contribute to the success of this program.

BE A VOLUNTEER
The Women Build 2023 volunteer calendar can accommodate 25 volunteers per day. Volunteer dates are September 29th through November 18th. The build days are Tuesday - Saturday, 9am-3pm. We welcome your office, group of friends or individual volunteers!

If you are not a sponsor and would like to volunteer, please use the PayPal link below to make your $30 volunteer donation. Once that is complete, you will receive an email confirmation from our Volunteer Coordinator to set up your volunteer date.
BECOME A WATCH MEMBER
W.A.T.C.H. is a group of dedicated ladies who ensure Women Build continues to thrive in western St. Tammany. It began in 2009 when a group of women accepted the challenge by pledging $1,000 a year. In recognition and appreciation of their support, members wear a hand-crafted glass lapel pin created by Carol Lapari designs. In 2023, W.A.T.C.H. women donated $45,000 toward building safe, affordable housing.

WOMEN BUILD & W.A.T.C.H. 2023
Pemmie Sheasby and Jennifer Gitz are the co-chairs of Women Build 2023. They will lead the way as we begin to recruit our sponsors and volunteers. They will also keep our W.A.T.C.H. members up to date on all of our socials and events, as well as recruit people that would like to host a W.A.T.C.H. social.
