At Habitat for Humanity St. Tammany West, we build. We build because we believe that everyone, everywhere, should have a healthy, affordable place to call home. More than building homes, we build communities, we build hope and we build the opportunity for families to help themselves.
Your donation will help local families break the cycle of poverty and build long-term financial security. With an affordable, stable home, families have more to spend on food, medicine, child care, education and other essentials. Your support can help us do more in all the many ways that Habitat builds.
The Emily Diamond Planned Giving Society
The Emily Diamond Planned Giving Society is comprised of supporters who make gift plans to benefit Habitat's housing ministry beyond their lifetime—moving us ever closer to the ultimate goal of every person in our community having a decent place to live. This society is named after our founder, Emily Diamond. Emily started Habitat for Humanity STW in 1981, making it the first affiliate in the state and the tenth in the nation. Her compassion for others brought people together to build homes with Habitat homebuyers in our community.

Gift of Stocks
Habitat for Humanity STW has partnered with Merrill Lynch to handle the coordination of the donation of stocks. Our contact person, at Merrill Lynch, is Maggie Arndt, 985-898-3940. She will assist you with the necessary paperwork to complete your donation of stock to Habitat for Humanity STW and then will inform us of your gift.
Cars for Homes
Donating your vehicle to Habitat for Humanity is a great way to support our work.
Proceeds from the sale of your donated vehicle will help Habitat families build strength, stability and self-reliance in the St. Tammany West. Plus, it’s fast and easy to do, and you may qualify for a tax deduction.
