Habitat ReStore

Phase 3.2.png

We are excited to reopen the ReStore and work together to build back! As the state enters Phase 2, we will be enacting new guidelines and practices to keep shoppers, donors, volunteers, and staff as safe as possible. We ask for your patience as we establish these new procedures. Thank you!

About the ReStore

The Habitat for Humanity St. Tammany West ReStore accepts donations of new and gently used home improvement items from individuals and businesses. We sell those items to the public at prices well below retail. The proceeds are then used to build Habitat homes with low-income families in our community, and we do it all with the help of our wonderful volunteers. We invite you to donate, shop and volunteer.

Since its founding in 1988, the ReStore has funded the construction of 32 homes. We are proud to announce that this year's ReStore Homebuyer is Sharon Thornhill! You can learn about Sharon and her family here!

From appliances to furniture, building supplies to books, you'll never know what’s in store for you at the ReStore! With our constantly changing inventory, prices well below retail, frequent sales and one-of-a-kind items, you're sure to find something you just can't leave without. Whether you're a do-it-yourselfer, contractor, interior designer, or someone who just likes to hunt for treasures, make sure to stop by often. If you miss a day, you just might miss a deal! For more examples of what's in stock, be sure to follow us on Facebook!

Remodeling, downsizing or just getting organized? Donate your household goods and building materials to the ReStore. We’ll gladly take new and gently-used items off your hands and use the proceeds to construct homes with local families.

Habitat for Humanity St. Tammany West is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. We will gladly provide you with a receipt for your donated items. Due to IRS regulations, we are not allowed to assign a value to donated items, but your receipt will list the items you donated. We encourage you to work with your tax professional to determine the value and use of your tax receipt. More information can be found on the IRS website.
