This is the 22nd year of our annual fundraiser/build campaign, Women Build. Women Build is an annual project in which Habitat for Humanity St. Tammany West empowers women, without excluding men, to build homes, enabling them to positively impact the lives of families by making home ownership a reality. Often, over 400 volunteers contribute over 2,065 volunteer hours during Women Build to help build these homes in West St. Tammany Parish. Women possess all that's needed to create dramatic change in our community. From volunteering to donating, there are many ways to contribute to the success of this program.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY
Gena Smith,
Stirling Properties
We love to be involved in our community and help where we can. Helping families to have a home to live in and raise their children so that they are safe and able to be successful in our community is important. We love being able to put our own heart, soul, and sweat into making a safe home for people that we are connected with in our community.
Leah Brown, Chevron
“For over a decade, Chevron has proudly supported Habitat for Humanity St. Tammany West and their Women Build initiative,” said Leah Brown, public affairs manager for Chevron’s Gulf of Mexico Business Unit. “As part of our ongoing investment in the local community, we are deeply committed to helping address home insecurity. This collaboration allows us to empower women and provide families with the stability that safe housing brings. Everyone deserves a place to call home, and we are honored and humbled to be a part of their life-changing efforts. Chevron thanks Habitat for Humanity, Women Build, and the amazing women they work with for our long-standing partnership - and for the tremendous inspiration they provide us each day.”
